This is a sustainable cycle - new revenue for clubs finances the upgrades, new sales for manufacturers finances ongoing R&D, new requirements for instructors keeps them learning and growing.
If you are a bike manufacturer, a fitness facility owner or manager, an indoor cycling or Spinning® instructor, or an avid outdoor cyclist that “gets it”, we need your help. While the popularity of indoor cycling has not diminished, it remains the least advanced or upgraded room in the typical fitness facility, and the huge outdoor cycling community remains essentially absent.
The indoor cycling or Spinning® rooms are usually the only places not outfitted with training tools (heart monitors, computers, video screens, & other technology) unlike the typical aerobic area. In fact, it is a rare indoor facility that understands outdoor cycling, or that has insured the indoor program promotes and supports the outdoor riding community.
The Cycling Fusion Alliance is a non-profit organization designed to “fuse” the worlds of indoor and outdoor cycling closer together... to produce “cycling fusion”, where indoor enthusiasts and outdoor cyclists can both enjoy the maximum benefits of training indoors together.
